We SMASH our Fundraising target for Diabetes UK!
It finally happened! On 23 September a BPC squad completed the gruelling mud run at the Nuclear Races. And what a journey it was!
Completing the course in a remarkable 1 hour and 34 minutes, our team gave it their all. As you can tell from the picture, they needed a serious hosing down after their incredible efforts!
But that’s not the best part. We didn’t just meet our fundraising target of £1,000 – we surpassed it with flying colours! Thanks to the support of our friends, colleagues and well-wishers, we raised a grand total of £1,621 for Diabetes UK. This cause holds a special place in our hearts because one of our team, Stuart Dowling, has two children bravely battling type 1 diabetes.
Diabetes UK is at the forefront of diabetes research in the UK. They tirelessly fund innovation that has the potential to bring about life-changing breakthroughs in care, treatment, and prevention. By supporting them, we are contributing to a brighter future for countless individuals affected by diabetes.
