BPC get muddy in support of Diabetes UK
This September, BPC Interiors is rallying a squad of 14 for an action-packed mud run at the Nuclear Races. The cause at the heart of this challenge, is Diabetes UK, a charity close to BPC’s heart. The driving force is our long-standing and valued member of the team, Stuart Dowling, whose two children both battle type 1 diabetes.
Stuart’s poignant words emphasise the daily challenges: “Living with diabetes is difficult. There are so many factors to consider, and it can be stressful knowing what’s best, but you shouldn’t need to put your life on hold. Research into a cure is the biggest thing and educating people on the difference between type 1 and type 2.”
The money raised will help the charity fund research to improve lives by understanding diabetes causes and finding better care, treatment, and prevention methods, moving closer to a cure – the ultimate goal.
