Meet Our Team
Barry Knight
Barry has been in the Construction Industry for 35 years and is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He acts as a Commercial Director and controls finance and project profitability requirements. Barry helps co-ordinate activities and design projects to ensure goals and objectives are achieved on time and on budget. He is also the Director responsible for Health and Safety within the company.
Paul Johnson
With over 35 years of experience, Paul takes a hands on approach visiting sites weekly. His background as a ceiling fixer, means that he gives hands on solutions to practical problems on site, which strengthens his position as Construction Director. Paul directs and co-ordinates all construction related activities and his knowledge and awareness of the industry and the company’s activities make him a vital member of the team.
Dan Rees
Dan is responsible for the Commercial Team, providing prompt project costings and regular cost updates to the main contractor on each individual project. Involvement in any Value Engineering processes, as well as suggesting areas where cost savings could be made by utilising design changes effectively. Further duties involve controlling and co-ordinating the procurement and delivery of materials to sites to meet the programmes. Recent projects include Deloitte, Senator House, International Quarter S6 and KCL Bush House.
Adam Donkin
Adam is responsible for the commercial aspects of a project costings and providing regular cost updates to the main contractor on each individual project. Involvement in any Value Engineering processes, as well as suggesting areas where cost savings could be made by utilising design changes effectively. Further duties involve controlling and co-ordinating the procurement and delivery of materials to sites to meet the programmes. Recent projects include, Schroders,Project X @ EY, ITV Waterhouse Square and No1 Lyric Square.
Carrie Townsend
Carrie is responsible for controlling project costs and providing regular cost updates to the main contractor as well as controlling and co-ordinating the procurement and delivery of materials to site to meet the programme. Recent projects include Kingston University, Deloitte, AECOM and Falcon Group.
Nayeb Choudhury
Nayeb is an upcoming Quantity Surveyor currently responsible for assisting his colleagues and managing his own various projects in regards to providing monthly cost updates to the main contractor and managing numerous aspects of the financial side of construction projects. Recent projects include, RBS 250 and RBS Coutts.
Sultan Ahmed
Sultan manages the design processes for the company, which is the first time design has been done in-house. This includes, design during the
pre-construction / construction phases, straight through to the As Built drawings. Working with main contractors and architect’s to come up with a practical and cost effective design solution. Duties involve designing & co-ordinating project specific layouts & details, producing design release schedules and ensuring dates are met. Designing & procuring material for mock ups, attending design workshop meetings and liaising with manufacturers to keep up to date with their latest systems and designs.

Mike Shepherd
Mike has been a surveyor at BPC Northern Office for over 5 years and is responsible for the commercial aspects of a project costings and providing regular cost updates to the main contractor on each individual project. With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry he specialises specifically in suspended ceilings and partitions.
Sam Reeve
Sam is responsible for the Pre-Construction Team, providing detailed and comprehensive tender submissions along with Value Engineering options to help achieve budgets. Recent projects include Brighton Sports college, Royal Bank of Canada and Jane Street.
Tony Edwards
Tony provides the key role in the supply chain management process for BPC. Having vast experience in the market helps him source all the materials for all of our jobs nationwide and he is currently leading the purchasing department to source all the right materials for the best prices. He works with the surveyors and the site managers to fulfil all the requirements on site, when needed.
Marie Kemp
Marie is a results driven professional with 20 years of experience in all aspects of Customer Service, Sales, Office Management, Administration and Team Leadership. She joined the BPC Team to manage the London office as well as looking after the I.T Solutions, H.R department, Marketing and Finance.
Lavinia Zaharia
Lavinia is responsible for the day to day activities in the accounts department, recording financial transactions and handling the general ledger. Her key responsibilities are payments, accounts receivable/payable, bank & cashbook reconciliations, CIS & VAT returns, invoicing & expenses.
Shanice Simons
Shanice joined the BPC team to further her knowledge in the Accounts department. She deals with invoices, archiving financial documents and updating internal accounting databases and spreadsheets on a daily basis.
Donna Whitehurst
Donna was originally employed to implement the procedures, which BPC Interiors now adhere to. Donna recruits, trains and manages all Site Administrators, supporting Project Managers, Supervisors and workers with the day to day duties across all Projects.
Jeanette Frith
Jeanette is one of our Site Administrators that supports the Project Manager and workers with all Document Control and Administrative duties on site. This involves submitting & tracking documents through to approval, recording deliveries to site and liaising heavily with the Main Contractor. This is an integral part of the Project from start to finish.
Karly Mills
Karly joined the team as our Environmental, Sustainability & Social Value Manager. This means she will be ensuring the Environmental compliance throughout the business. She facilitates a best practice culture within the business as well as maintaining all accreditations and continually improving the business integrated management systems.
Neil Applegate
Neil has been with the company for over 5 years and is an integral part of the HSEQ department. He looks after BPC Interiors day-to-day Health, Safety and Wellbeing aspects, with focus on supporting operations, ensuring compliance with site and office H&S. Neil is also a Mental Health First Aider and is very passionate about the wellbeing of all site and office staff.
Stuart Dowling
Stuart has been with BPC for 26 years starting as an apprentice straight from school, learning the trade and becoming a fixer. He was promoted to site manager in 2015 and continued to show his dedication to BPC which led him to becoming Director of Operations in December 2021. Stuart now spends his time visiting all the sites to check that quality, design & safety requirements are being adhered to and that all programmes are being met on time.
Tom Knight
Tom has worked at BPC for over 12 years and he oversees projects of all sizes, right from the design stage through to handover of the projects. He has a hands on approach, no matter the task at hand. Further duties involve making sure BPC builds to all current regulations and specifications and to the highest quality that BPC are known for. Recent projects include Hays Galleria, Marsh Mclennon, Dtek, 155 Bishopgate.
