BPC’s team of trivia buffs had a great time at the Big Overbury Charity Quiz Night and Charity Raffle on Thursday 16th February.
Things didn’t start too well for the BPC team. At question 5 they were ranking 49th out of the 50 teams of Overbury consultants and subcontractors. By the time all the questions had been marked, they’d raced up to second place!
The Charity Quiz Night raised an incredible £100,766 for a wide range of good causes, including The National Autistic Society, the MND Association and half a dozen other good causes. In response to the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, some of the funds also went to the Disasters Emergency Committee Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal and the Syrian British Medical Society.
We’re proud to have supported such a worthy initiative and would like to congratulate the team at Overbury for organising this fun and highly successful event.
