Making a big difference for St Hilda’s East!
You may remember that our recent charity golf day raised an incredible £9,500 for our charity partner, St. Hilda’s East. The charity has an amazing community hub in Tower Hamlets, providing people with a wide range of services and opportunities, as well as social care and a food co-op service.
Last week, BPC’s Marie Kemp and Karly Mills dropped in at St Hilda’s East to present their team with a nice big cheque (in both senses of the word!)
St Hilda’s East’s Funding and Marketing Lead, Layla Moosavi Rivers, sent us a message to thank us for our donation. She said: “Thank you so much for the incredibly generous cheque of £9,500! The impact of such a donation for St Hilda’s East is immense. It could cover so many vital needs, such as funding one or even two part-time salaries for roles critical to our services, running our food co-op, supporting our work with young people or early-years children and families, or enhancing our services for older people and women, to name just a few.
“We are truly delighted and deeply grateful that you have chosen to continue supporting us as your charity of the year. It will be wonderful to witness the journey and see the incredible impact your donation will have and the further difference it will make.”
