Teeing off to help raise money in Max’s memory
On Friday 2nd June, BPC’s Dan Rees and Sam Reeve took part in Max’s Charity Golf Day at Effingham Golf Club in Surrey.
The event was organised by Overbury’s Daniel Galleni, in memory of his son Max who sadly passed away in 2016 after suffering from a brain tumour. The day raised funds for Promise Dreams, a charity that helps make the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and their families come true.
The event kicked off with breakfast, before an 18-hole shotgun start at 8.30 (Dan was totally overjoyed to beat Sam ). Further funds were also raised by a live auction and a raffle.
The day was a great success, and we were delighted to help raise funds for such a great cause. If you’d like to support Promise Dreams, you can bid on some brilliant silent auction items, ranging from private dining at Michelin starred restaurants through to a weeklong stay in Barbados.
