BPC Interiors had a fantastic result at this year’s Mental Health World Cup.
Playing as Argentina, we got off to a strong start by topping our group without conceding a single goal. A major highlight (according to our Estimating Manager, Sam, if no-one else) was when he scored “an absolute rocket of a shot with his weaker foot!”
In the knockout stages, our team had a right battle with Overbury Central playing as France. We can from one nil down to win two one. Then, in the last 16, our dreams of glory were shattered by Thorpes Joinery, who were playing in Cameroon’s colours.
We’re proud of our team’s efforts and success, especially as the event is a crucial means of support for mental health charities and suicide prevention.
Overall, this year’s Mental Health World Cup raised £232,000. We can’t wait to take part next year and hopefully help to raise even more!
