We’re excited to be sending yet another team to this year’s Mental Health World Cup, the top football tournament tackling suicide prevention head-on.
Over two days, 768 footballers and 96 five-a-side teams will take to the pitch at QPR’s Loftus Road stadium – and we’ll be right there with seven of our colleagues playing as Argentina!
Last year we were decked out in Germany’s kit and reached the final 16 before being knocked out by Collins Construction playing as Greece. This year, we’re determined to go further!
This is the sixth year that the MHWC has been held at QPR and, for the first year ever, another 16 teams will also be playing at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium. It’s incredible that the event is growing so quickly, helping to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities that provide life-saving mental health services. We’re also honoured to be one of the sponsors of the QPR event.
