BPC enters the Mental Health World Cup 2024!
We’re excited to announce that BPC has entered a team in this year’s Mental Health World Cup at QPR’s Loftus Road Stadium. We’re doing it to raise funds and awareness for the charity CALM and other mental health community initiatives.
It’s a sad fact, but the construction industry suffers from suicide rates that are three times higher than the UK average. The MHWC has become a significant fundraising and social event for our industry since its launch in 2012. It’s an opportunity to bring together friends, colleagues and business associates to help raise awareness of this critical issue while raising essential funds and creating lasting memories.
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is dedicated to supporting suicide prevention. 125 people take their lives each week in the UK, with three quarters of them being male. CALM is on a mission to change this by providing life-saving services, fostering conversations and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
