BPC Interiors is currently seeking a candidate to fill a permanent position for a Drywall & Ceiling Designer with an immediate start. The ideal candidate is a CAD designer with a strong understanding of dry lining, partitioning, and suspended ceiling systems. Additionally, experience with 3D BIM modeling would be advantageous. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their CAD skills through examples of their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing day-to-day project CAD requirements, including producing working layouts, sections, elevations, and details.
  • Establishing design office standards and user technologies, with a focus on interfacing with CAD libraries and menu groups.
  • Facilitating construction solutions through product selection.
  • Implementing auto-scheduling functions for manufacturing and order processing.
  • Providing technical support for all CAD software.
  • Developing and managing the growth of BIM and REVIT/AutoCAD integration.

Skills and Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge and skills using AutoCAD & REVIT.
  • The ability to create CAD/BIM/3D drawings and designs for partitioning projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of dry lining, partitioning, and suspended ceiling systems.
  • Confidence in leading project design.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports, designs, contracts, and specification documents.
  • The ability to review technical designs to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • An organised and tidy work approach, with adaptability to construction schedules.
